They say you should imagine your fear as a cloud, or anxious little friend. If the best way to combat fear is with understanding and love, maybe they have a point. 

There’s an exhausted and terrified 14 year old version of me seriously worried that math will end in the same amount of tears and frustration that it did before. They’re terrified of more text books being thrown at their face as the teacher decides it’s hopeless to teach them. 

And the 24 year old me just needs to reassure the panicky 14 year old inside

It’s Going To Be ALRIGHT. 

And my college prep/math classes start on Monday.
